Lemonhead's tenth theatrical production was Bar Macbeth. Baed on the Bard's most famous play, Bryan Muscat wrote the adaptation where he set his story in Straight Street, Valletta, in the 1950's.

During the 50's Malta was just coming out of the post war depression, and most Night Clubs in Valletta were trying to revive busniess in the capital city.

Lemonhead's latest production was an ambitious one that was hugely appreciated by the audience. Seeing that the script was character-based, the director made sure that the audience wouldn't get distracted by a full-blown set, too many props or gadgets. In fact the stage was almost bare, allowing different planes for the actors upon which to roam, and exploit.

Wahedna is written by Noel Tanti and Directed by Chrysander Agius. The cast is made up of Ten young actors, aged between 9 and 15.

Pinokkjo, an original musical by Bryan Muscat was Lemonhead's ever first junior production. A group of 17 young lemonheadders, aged between 7 and 14, gave a great performance to all those present at the Indipendence festivities.

The great work rate showed by the juniors, and their level of dedication is awe inspiring. Their talent is immense. The production itself was very colourful and the music was easy on the ear.

All in all it was a very succesful production for our juniors. Click the image to read more.

Lemonhead's fourth theatrical endeavour, Gurija Rrabjata was directed and adapted by Bryan Muscat. Originally penned by Reginald Rose, Twelve Angry Men won an Emmy Award for best script, among others.

The story revolves around the eponymous twelve jurors deliberating the case of a teenage boy accused of murdering his father. We never get to see the boy or the actual case in court, but instead we are provided with a spectacle of characterization where we get to know what happened by means of the numerous discussions and allegations adopted by the jurors. There is no doubt about the popularity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thousands of books and a good number of theatrical, television and big screen productions have told the story of his transcendental life. With this in mind Lemonhead in association with Net Television embarked on their project Jien Hu.

The modern setting sees an schyzophrenic Pilate trying to cope with the pressure of being a governor in an alien country who hate Romans, and is currently caught up in this 'Jesus' issue. Should he satisfy the Jewish High Priest's demands to execute the Christ, or should he give heed to Claudia (his wife) and set him free. Click the image to read more.

After a very succesful debut with Animal Farm, Lemonhead embarked on another ambitious project, that of staging Cervantes's novel Don Quixote. Although the play, penned by Adrian Scerri has only the slightest hint of the real story, the main idea was brought alive in today's surroundings.

Lemonhead thought of producing this theatrical project in Maltese, and it was well received by the audience. The story sees a mature Don Quixote, who is immersed in his 'Templars' and 'Free Masonary' beliefs, seen as a strange guy living among the typical local village characters.
